QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

What is a forensic animation?
An animated 3D video that displays the relevant facts in your case. This animation can be displayed on a computer screen, television set, or on a projector.

What are the benefits of using 3D animation for mediation and trial?
You put all of your effort and spend all of your time building a case, just too then take the risk of having a jury or mediator misunderstand or misinterpret the facts. A properly done 3D animation eliminates that risk while also adding advantage of emotion you don’t get from a verbally described incident.

A properly done 3D animation also:
- Creates a sense of shared understanding by the jury
- People remember 3x more what they see than what they hear. The jury will remember your case's animation 3x more than your opposition’s verbal explanation.
- Helps the jury emotionally relate to your side of the case.
- Can assist in smoothly transitioning from one exhibit to another.

How much involvement/time on my part will it take to create the animation?
We use the facts that you have already put together for your case. We usually require an initial consultation to get started and then we simply need to meet another time or two approve or revise the animation.

Is it wise to use 3D animation to assist in determining the merits of a case?
Not only does the process creating the animation assure clarification of all the facts of the case. You can then use the 3D animation for meditation and trial.

How accurate are your animations?
We depend on the data provided to create the 3D animation. However, we work directly with you to make sure the job is done right and never finish a project till you are 100% satisfied with the results.

How long should the animation be?
As long as it takes to properly display the relevant facts in your case. With the aid of 3D animation this can usually be done in 1 to 5 minutes depending on the case. We have no set time limit and we are always willing to accommodate to the client’s needs.

What cases would 3D animation be relevant in?
• Auto Accidents
• Slip and Fall
• Medical Malpractice
• Patent Infringement
• Mechanical Failure
• Building Investigation
• Product Liability
• Environmental Law
• Crime Reenactment
